@DerVagabundli Sorry I can't give you the exact RPM figures you asked for, they are somewhat hard to find, but at least we know it goes to at least 7000. Interestingly the next car in 1985 the 5000QV was bored and stroked to 5.2 litres and was 4 valves per cylinder. For me, the Lambo has classic styling that never seems to age much, and an awesome sound, despite it's other failings. Cams, pistons, etc. nowadays are all forged components and precision machined in Italy.

the old superleggera was much louder (if that is possible), more hardcore so this not came as an evolution to me. for me this is the S++ version of the 560-4 using the superleggera badge. very good but could be better. maybe lamborghini make a special version mixing the superleggera and the rwd balboni with the straight pipes of the old superleggera, making the ultimate mid-engine italian supercar

@SpotterGijs veyron only runs 10's in the 1/4 there are quite a few cars faster than the veyron in the 1/4 stock. the veyron is a very very heavy car oh and this lambo can go alot higher than the veyrons "top speed" remember this is just in a standing mile. this car was still accelerating

Plus, its so fat and heavy that it would not be able to keep up with the lighter and more agile Reventon. Not to mention the other, better hyper cars like the Zonda F, Cinque, CCX, and Agera; all of which would leave the Veyron in their dust. You can't defend the Veyron. Its the driving that counts and the Veyron is not a driver's car.
